Continuing the topic of Gen Z as consumers. Sobriety is another topic of conversation within Gen Z, in fact this generation has shown to be the highest in consuming low or non-alcoholic drinks. There is also a real focus on being more health oriented and overall looking for good ingredients when it comes to what we consume 🍸 There are some brilliant brands that have truly stepped up the game, anything from non-alcoholic to just overall gut friendly drinks that feel healthy ✨ Botivo Drinks are true revolutionisers within non-alcoholics and killed it this year raising £900k. It’s a handmade botanical aperitivo, made with 5 fresh botanicals: orange zest, rosemary, thyme, gentian and wormwood which are infused into a fermented apple base 🍏 It’s got a Great Taste award and Gold in the World of Alcohol free. Packaging is 10/10, gorgeous. I look forward to trying it and seeing them grow 💫 Athletic Brewing Co. a non-alcoholic craft beer specifically marketed for the healthy and active beer lovers. Their marketing and branding are phenomenal, and they have had an amazing growth year. I got the chance to try their Free Wave Hazy IPA and let me just say unreal🍻 Caleño Drinks was born due to Ellie Webb 💃🏽✨ wanting to create the most tropical and fun-filled drinks to enjoy when you're not drinking! Caleño Light & Zesty is a gin alternative with a unique tropical twist; while the Dark & Spicy adds a bold punch of exotic flavours. They also released their PINEAPPLE PIÑA COLADA cans which look like a great way to stay fresh in the summer heat 🍍 🍹 Liquid Death is another brand that really thought outside the box and campaigns. From their motto being #MurderYourThirst and #DeathToPlastic, to truly brilliant collaborators; they have really stood out. I won’t lie I’m also slightly biased as the Mango Sparkling Water is my absolute favourite 💀 🖤 poppi is another brand I want to rave about. They have taken the US by complete storm. Founded by Stephen Ellsworth and Allison Ellsworth in Austin, TX, they combined fruit juice, apple cider vinegar and inulin prebiotics which in return gave a refreshing and delicious healthier soda. So you can cave into the soda cravings but not feel bad about it. Through the help of an investment of Shark Tank, poppi has gone from farmers market to nationwide recognised. Fingers crossed they make across to the UK 🍋 🍓 Lastly another US brand that I hope make it across the ocean, is Spindrift Beverage Co, Inc. which was founded in 2010, on the belief that the best tastes come directly from nature. In fact every Spindrift is “proudly made the hard way with real squeezed fruit”. They are now nationwide in the US across retailers, groceries, restaurants and can also be ordered from their websites. Summer's New Products 🔆 The sun is finally shining and we are excited to show some of our favourite new releases. The Coconut Collab has introduced a new plant-based yoghurt alternative that with10g of protein per 170g serving. Made from a blend of coconut cream and coconut water with added almond and soy protein, this product is low in sugar and gluten-free. The brand has launched the UK's first plant-based, on-the-go Yog & Granola, combining their coconut yoghurt with crunchy granola clusters. A great addition to their expanding collection of plant-based yoghurts. 🌱 Ben Lomond Gin launched a non-alcoholic botanical spirit with an ABV of less than 0.5% in July for the 152nd Open. The Scottish brand has taken inspiration from their full-strength gin with their first non-alcoholic offering. 🍹 A new addition to table sauces, Nando's UK & IRE has released a Peri – Ketchup. With tomato paste, onion, lemon purée and chilli, the ketchup has been branded a mild sauce by Nando’s. We’re excited to try this one out. 🍅 Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop launches in the UK. The first ready-to-drink product from their new premium spirits company, taking its name from Snoop Dogg’s 1994 single produced by Dr Dre, was released in the US earlier this year and is now making its way to the UK.  The canned cocktail comes in 4 flavours - Citrus, Melon, Passionfruit and Apricot, containing real fruit. 🍹 Will you be trying any of these new products this summer? ☀
