Last year the Company announced a wide-ranging strategic review to deliver cost savings, improved efficiencies and a foundation for future growth, and today Domino’s confirmed the benefits were flowing through to better profitability for stores, improved returns for franchise partners, and more value for customers. This week, Domino's Support Team came together in the D-Lab for an Ekka inspired Connecting the Dots meeting, enjoying ‘strawberry ice cream’ yogurt cups, potato waffle fries, Bertie Beetles, fresh fairy floss and even roadshow alley games! During the monthly meeting, team members listened in to the latest business update, exchanged insights across departments, and celebrated the incredible efforts of Domino's Team Members of the Month! 👏

Last week, Domino's Kochi Shiotacho store in Japan was awarded the 'CEO's Special Award', meaning all team members were granted one day of paid leave, while executives took over the running of the store. Domino's Japan CEO Martin Steenks and other members of the Japan Leadership Team enjoyed operating the store for the day on behalf of the Kochi Shiotamachi crew; making, baking and taking hot & fresh pizzas to local customers. In addition, the team also invited local staff from several children's cafeterias in the Kochi prefecture to participate in a 'Pizza Academy' special training session, where they learnt how to make Domino's pizza (and even got to try their own creation)! Thank you to everyone who attended this event, and to Martin and the team for stepping in to give the hard working crew at Domino's Kochi Shiotacho a well deserved break! 🍕
