SunExpress started using Finlet technology to reduce carbon footprint for Boeing 737-800 aircraft.   Finlets are a patented array of small “fins” which modify airflow and reduce drag. They in turn decrease fuel consumption and carbon emissions.   Finlets have been implemented on five of our 737-800 aircraft in the first stage, starting with a pilot phase of one year. We aim to reduce fuel consumption on our up to twenty-five 737-800 aircraft with this technology in the next stage. And we expect to save up to half million gallons of fuel & nearly 6 million kilograms of carbon emissions annually.

We came together for a truly inspiring Sustainability Week at our headquarters, SunPlaza in #Antalya. Additionally, we shared insights from our ongoing fuel efficiency projects at our company.
