Role Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Sales Engineer who can lead a team of contractors to deliver compelling proposals tailored to the needs of our prospects. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in technology sales, with a deep understanding of cloud services, product development, and various industry demands. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to delegate effectively, engage thoughtfully in business development discussions, and possess a keen insight into the technological needs of diverse sectors.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate a group of contractors, leveraging each individual's expertise to craft exceptional, tailored proposals that meet the specific needs of prospective clients
Act as a strategic thought partner in assessing prospects, understanding their challenges, and devising effective strategies to win contracts
Utilize exceptional business acumen to help prospects articulate the problems they need to solve, aligning our solutions with their core requirements
Demonstrate a good product sense, understanding the nuances of how products are built, and guiding clients through potential technical solutions
Possess a strong understanding of cloud environments, with significant exposure to at least two of the following: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Drive alignment with the recruiting team to find the perfect talent for each proposal, making sure they clearly understand what the roles are and what the customer needs
Bring experience from working across a wide range of industries, for instance healthcare, fintech, compliance, security, data projects, to provide relevant and impactful insights
Maintain excellent communication skills in English, with a proficiency level of C1 or above (C2 preferred)
Additional Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address client needs
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively
High level of initiative and self-motivation, capable of working independently
Knowledge of CRM software and tools to manage and track engagement and sales progress
Experience in conducting market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor developments
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience in a technology sales role, particularly as a Sales Engineer
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
Extensive knowledge of cloud technologies and software development practices
