- Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures in the logistics industry
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct performance evaluations
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services
- Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business requirements
- Coordinate and oversee the procurement process, from purchase requisition to delivery and payment
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical practices
- Generate reports and analysis on procurement performance, costs, and savings
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in procurement and logistics
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field
- Prior experience in procurement, preferably in the logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
- Experience in supplier management and negotiation
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Legal authorization to work in the location of the job posting
