Frasers Property is a Distinguished Friend of Singapore Red Cross. We received the highest recognition for corporate entities that helped advance Singapore Red Cross’s humanitarian work and causes. Wanshi Zheng, our Group Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer received the award from President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Patron of the Singapore Red Cross, on behalf of the company. This recognition is our third from the charity, following the Friend of Singapore Red Cross Award in 2023 and the United for Humanity Award in 2021. 🤝 Through our Community Investment initiatives, we tap on the connectedness of our employees, tenants and like-minded stakeholders to create a lasting impact on the communities. Our commitment to social impact is also demonstrated through our annual Frasers Community Month. Last month, we launched the inaugural OneFrasers Global Leadership Programmes: Ignite and Forge, bringing participants from across our geographies together to propel our journey of building a pipeline of future-ready leaders. Our talent & development programmes are a critical component to creating a great workplace which is both high-performing and imbued with a great culture. This means building leaders who care for the organisation and our people; and have the ability to lead and inspire in a complex, ambiguous and ever-changing landscape. Both are specially tailored to develop great Frasers Property leaders who amplify our collective identity. Leaders who share a whole-of-enterprise OneFrasers mindset that will enable us to unlock our collective potential, drive growth and build a sustainable organisation for the future together. Throughout the next 9 to 12 months, participants will engage in mastery sessions, learning pods, tripartite coaching, business case challenges and in-person immersions. In the first in-person module just completed, participants engaged in learning through the lens of the impact that they create with their mindsets, behaviours, skillsets, and habits. During their time in Singapore, they participated in fireside chats and conversations with external leaders Olivier Lim (Lead Independent Director, DBS Group Holdings & DBS Bank) and Kenneth Choo (Asia Pacific Managing Director, Heineken) to experience real-life lessons of leadership in business. We were also very privileged to have with us Dr David wong see hong (FPL Non-Executive and Independent Director) and Choon-Fah Ong (Chairman of Frasers Centrepoint Asset Management) who shared with us their Board perspectives as well as their personal career journeys. Participants also got to interact with our own leaders including Group Chief Executive Officer Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi and Group Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer Wanshi Zheng. The balance of outside-in and inside-out perspectives enabled the cohorts to gain deeper insights into leading through different perspectives, nuances and complexities. A visit to FairPrice Group, our valued retail tenant in Singapore was a great opportunity for learning how our customer, like us, is also evolving to be future-ready across their organisation and operations. To put learning into application, the participants are now working together to tackle a business case challenge, solving real-life high-impact problem statements that are linked to the business issues we face today. CEO of the Manager, Anthea Lee, joined fellow industry leaders to discuss the evolving landscape of S-REITs. 🎉 Our #SREIT Frasers Centrepoint Trust (#FCT) has been upgraded from ‘A’ to the second-highest tier ‘AA’ in the MSCI Inc. ESG Rating, according to its latest report dated 31 July 2024. The ‘AA’ rating recognises FCT as a leading company among its peer group in managing the most significant ESG risks and opportunities. This announcement comes on the back of announcements of six FCT malls being part of #Singapore’s largest single solarisation roll-out for retail malls and other sustainable energy innovations, as well as the implementation of the WasteMaster food waste valorisation system across five of its malls.
