CAAS hosted the 6th Singapore-Thailand Dialogue on Aviation Cooperation in Singapore from 1-2 August 2024. The dialogue involved over 70 officials from Thailand and Singapore – the most ever – and covered a wide range of issues including air transport, air traffic management, safety, security and facilitation and unmanned aircraft systems, testament to our many shared interests and deepening ties. We thank CAAT (Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand) and AEROTHAI - Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Ltd for the friendship and fruitful discussions. We look forward to stronger partnership between our two air hubs to take aviation to greater heights. 🤝🏼

At the heart of our OneAviation Community is our resilient and dedicated workforce anchored by the strong spirit of aviation tripartism. ❤️ As part of CAAS’ continued efforts to strengthen tripartite partnerships, CAAS Director-General, Mr Han Kok Juan, welcomed more than 50 leaders from the Aerospace and Aviation cluster of unions and NTUC to our annual dialogue held on 25 July 2024. At this year’s dialogue, CAAS and union leaders agreed to work together closely as an ecosystem on two key priorities which underscore the success of our air hub – manpower 🧑🧒🧒 and safety ⛑️. Union leaders highlighted the need to enhance the airside working environment such as to help workers manage increasing heat stress, and to ensure continued safety as air travel demand increases. The dialogue also discussed the next iteration of the National Aviation Safety Plan (2025 – 2027) that CAAS was co-developing in consultation with stakeholders, and for which union leaders’ feedback and inputs would be most beneficial. We wish to thank the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) Aerospace & Aviation Cluster of Unions who took time to share their candid views and provide valuable feedback. We are encouraged by the trust we share with our tripartite partners and remain committed to continue to do our part to support our aviation workers better. 🙌🏼 #StrongerTogether
