Are you a Changi Rewards member? Changi Rewards is CAG’s retail loyalty programme that provides airport shoppers with a whole slew of benefits, like 9% GST absorption at our landside retail outlets. To further enhance its offerings, Changi Rewards recently introduced ‘Monarch’, a new prestigious by-invite-only loyalty tier. Monarch members enjoy perks like shopping rebates of up to 4%, year-round free parking, and personalised concierge services, among others. Changi Rewards Team Lead Ms Chan Hui Leng says, “Monarch is our way of recognising and celebrating the elite status of our top premium customers. Through initiatives like Monarch, we aim to be the best-in-class travel and retail loyalty programme in Singapore.” Monarch is just one of the ways the Changi Rewards programme has been evolving to serve members better. Hui Leng says, “We constantly leverage our customer insights to enhance our offerings and thus long-term loyalty and satisfaction.” For example, new and enhanced parking benefits for all members were introduced in May '24, after a brand research study revealed that this would be a perk that members in any loyalty programme would greatly value. Over 260 CAGians joined hands with 140 airport partner volunteers to go M.A.D (make a difference) in July 2024! It was a privilege for us to give back to society at the Changi Gives Back event organised by Changi Foundation. The incredible support and gifts from our colleagues before the event empowered us to benefit close to 400 ComLink+ children/youths and their caregivers. On 1 July, our staff volunteers warmly hosted our young guests and their caregivers at the airport, creating joyful moments for guests and volunteers alike at the various stations. We are greatly heartened by the smiles we saw and the laughter we heard. The event stands as a testament to the power of community and compassion, showcasing the incredible impact we can make when we come together to support those in need.

For Tan Jo Ting, retail is more than just a career – it’s a passion. Since joining CAG four years ago, she has had the privilege to work on iShopChangi, CAG’s e-commerce platform, to bring exciting brands to travellers. Now, she is channelling her expertise to an equally important audience – the airport community. In April 2023, the airport community team under Airside Concessions Division was set up to boost sales and revenue. For Jo Ting, developing innovative initiatives like group buys and exclusive partnerships for the airport community has been incredibly rewarding and meaningful. “CAG's vision for #growth and #innovation fueled my excitement to join this pioneering team. I was enthused by the prospect of developing new initiatives, and I view it as an opportunity for personal and professional growth.” Balancing the diverse expectations of multiple stakeholders can be challenging, but Jo Ting thrives on the support of her dynamic teammates and maintains a healthy work-life balance. “To succeed in this role, it’s important to have a growth mindset, good interpersonal skills, and the passion for innovation while being accountable for the results,” Jo Ting shared. “If you're a team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and have a passion for retail, come make MAGIC with us at CAG!” Keen to join Jo Ting's team?
