Last week, I attended the Future Talent Council Summit in Stockholm, where Historian and "Sapiens" author Yuval Noah Harari redefined “Artificial Intelligence” as “Alien Intelligence.” His insights with Nicklas Berild Lundblad from Google DeepMind highlighted AI's transformative impact on our personal and professional lives. In the article below, I broke down my key takeaways from the session. TL;DR: 🧠 Lifelong Learning: The ability to continuously learn and adapt is our new superpower. 🤝 Humans and AI: AI’s tireless nature challenges us to balance human creativity and rest. 🔎 Truth in Information: Building resilience through self-awareness and managing our information diet. We've never seen a technology as disruptive as AI. It will change everything. The truth is, no one knows exactly how this will play out in our lives or our businesses. The only known is that it will, and it's up to us as individuals and leaders to understand, leverage, and steer it within our organizations. As we blend humanity with AI, we must harness this "alien" intelligence without losing our human touch. Stay curious, stay flexible, and keep learning. https://lnkd.in/eXVmYnP9

Future Talent Summit – The Most Significant AI Conference of 2024 Great inspiration and insights on AI and talent. For instance, Yuval Noah Harari, Historian, Philosopher and Bestselling Author ”Sapiens”. Yuval concluded that AI today is at it’s ”baby stage” but in the coming 10-20 years AI will develop into a ”T-Rex”. This will be a huge challenge to humanity. On the other hand humans have proven to be resilient and very adaptive during history. And like AI, humans have not reach there full potential. The jury is still out how this will unfold. Another thing Yuval pushed on is for all of us to constantly learn and adapt to this new challenge. Learn, forget, learn, forget and so on. Other great speakers like Nicklas Berild Lundblad at Deepmind and Johan Eriksson at Google echoed the importance of lifelong learning.
