Operations Manager

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the travel industry, with hands-on experience using travel systems like Amadeus. This role requires expertise in supplier relations (hotels, flights), revenue management, and a passion for sustainability.

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Implement and maintain procedures and policies to enhance performance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel suppliers, including hotels, airlines, and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms for clients.
• Utilize revenue management techniques to optimize pricing and maximize profitability.
• Analyse market trends, demand patterns, and competitor pricing to inform strategies.
• Manage and optimize integration with travel providers such as Amadeus.

• Champion sustainable travel practices within the organization and for clients.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in business, Hospitality, Travel Management, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in the travel industry with a focus on operations management.
• Demonstrated experience working with travel systems such as Amadeus.
• Strong expertise in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
• In-depth knowledge of revenue management and pricing strategies.
• Enthusiastic about sustainability with a solid understanding of sustainable travel practices.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
