Product Owner

Our client is passionate about helping Kiwi businesses improve, being a leading specialist in insights for the New Zealand market. Their team thrives on innovation and collaboration, aiming to make a positive impact in the industry.

They are now looking for a talented Product Owner to join their team. As the Product Owner, you will work closely with stakeholders across departments to bring various projects to life, ensuring it meets the clients' needs and aligns with our strategic goals. The role will also be heavily involved in customer engagement and integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Shape the Product Strategy: Define and communicate a compelling product vision that drives our business forward. Lead the end-to-end product development process, ensuring our products are delivered on time and exceed expectations.
• Gather insights from stakeholders and customers to prioritize features and enhancements that truly matter. Collaborate closely with diverse teams—developers, designers, marketers—to deliver outstanding products.
• Develop and maintain a roadmap that keeps us on track to meet our objectives and stay ahead in the market. Uphold our standards for quality and regulatory compliance, ensuring our products meet industry requirements.
• Staying Ahead: Keep a finger on the pulse of market trends and competition, always seeking opportunities to innovate.

Qualifications:

• You will have more than 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably with experience in the financial services sector. Understanding of financial products, regulations or governance is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, solving complex challenges with ease. You will be working on multiple projects and will be coming across as the product expert. Being naturally curious will be a plus!
• Communication Skills: Your ability to connect and influence across teams will be crucial to our success.
