Make an Impact

This role will oversee a key product area, working closely with our strategic partners booking.com. You'll be pivotal in setting and executing the product vision and strategy for this product. You will lead a team of product managers and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver exceptional products that meet customer needs and drive business success within your designated market segment/product area.

What you'll get to do

Product Strategy

  • Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for your designated market segments, aligning with broader company goals and market opportunities.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of a strategic product roadmap specific to your domain, ensuring alignment with Serko's vision, priorities and market opportunities within that segment.
  • Prioritise product initiatives based on potential business impact, customer value and resource availability, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Product Leadership

  • Develop and communicate a compelling product vision aligned with Serko's business goals and market trends for your designated market segment/product area, ensuring alignment with wider organisational objectives.
  • Identify and validate market opportunities, user needs, and emerging trends specific to your domain to shape a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap that supports the company's growth objectives within that segment.
  • Conduct market research, and competitive analysis, and gather customer feedback to inform strategic product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Define and track key performance indicators to measure product success and impact on business objectives, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize product performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to develop compelling value propositions, monetisation strategies, and go-to-market plans that drive product adoption and revenue growth.

Connecting Strategy Across Organisation

  • Ensure alignment and coherence across product initiatives and product teams, serving as the central point of coordination and communication.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication, bridging gaps between product management, engineering, marketing, sales, and other key stakeholders within your designated product area.
  • Identify synergies and opportunities for collaboration between different product initiatives and teams, fostering a unified approach to achieving shared objectives and maximizing overall impact.
  • Act as a strategic advisor and thought leader, providing insights and guidance to stakeholders on product-related matters and strategic opportunities.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on product priorities, timelines, and deliverables, facilitating efficient and effective execution of the product roadmap.


What you'll bring

  • Proven track record of leadership in product management within an e-commerce environment, with extensive experience in guiding successful product launches and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of product management principles and best practices, with proven experience in market analysis, product strategy development, and product lifecycle management and product-to-market.
  • Customer centricity backed by evidence-based decision-making and strong commercial acumen.
  • Exposure to experimentation, A/B testing etc,.
  • Exceptional leadership and influencing skills, with a track record of effectively leading and inspiring cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts and ideas to diverse audiences, and exceptional stakeholder management.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, using insights to drive product decisions and measure impact.
  • Exceptional adaptability and resilience in navigating ambiguity and driving results in evolving business landscapes.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment, driving forward change and innovation to stay ahead of market trends and competitive pressures.
  • Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to foster collaboration, creativity, and alignment across teams while challenging the status quo and driving continuous improvement.
