, Job Description
About the role
We are looking for Factory Cleaners to join our team. These positions will primarily involve being part of the cleaning process in the shellfish factory at the completion of production. You will be guaranteed at least 30 hours of work per week.
As a Factory Cleaner, your tasks can involve:
Chemical handling
Cleaning of processing machinery and other factory surfaces
The dismantling of equipment for access to internal machinery parts
Training of new staff (when trained and competent)
Training available.
The pay rate for this position will be $29.50 per hour.
You will be working 3pm – 11pm, Monday – Friday and weekends as required (standard hours – may vary depending on factory processing and requirements).

Who are you?
You are a self-starter looking for a new adventure. You have a positive attitude, enjoy working hard and are honest, reliable, and willing to learn.
On-site training provided. Factory cleaning experience advantageous, but not required.
Applicants will need:
Excellent attention to detail
High level of physical fitness (preferrable)
Good communication skills
The ability to work well under pressure
The ability to learn about the processing machines
Advanced knowledge in the following would be beneficial:
Shellfish Processing Operations
Cleaning procedures and maintenance practices
Health and Safety regulations and practices
Chemical handling
