There was much to celebrate last night at New Zealand’s premier business awards, the Deloitte Top 200. thl was a finalist for Company of the Year and Grant Webster was recognised as CEO of the year. The crew at thl are so grateful for Grant’s leadership. His vision, endless energy, and strong values have seen us survive and thrive through the biggest disruption in the history of tourism. You’re a legend Grant and we’re all very proud! Grant couldn’t be there last night as he spends some well deserved time off with his family. Today some of the digital crew had fun playing games to learn and participate in agile principles of collaboration, communication, feedback and adaptation as part of our ongoing learning. There was some great teamwork demonstrated in our ball passing game requiring the whole team to touch the ball and a bonus of design thinking with the tower construction game where teams needed to build a tower over multiple iterations with changing conditions.
