    Darrell Jones - General Manager Sales - NZ/Asia/South America. Darrell Jones has been a valued member of the Gallagher team since 2001. With over two decades of experience in the agricultural industry, Darrell has played a pivotal role in driving sales and fostering growth for Gallagher across various regions. His passion for helping farmers operate responsibly, productively, and profitably has been a driving force in his career. Darrell began his journey with Gallagher as a Territory Manager for the Bay of Plenty and South Waikato region. After 12 successful years in the role, he transitioned to Regional Sales Manager and Key Account Manager in 2013. His focus, commitment, and strategic approach made him the ideal choice for the National Sales Manager position in 2016. In his current role as General Manager of New Zealand and Chile, Darrell collaborates closely with his teams to develop and supply innovative products that benefit the agricultural industry. He takes pride in working with farmers, distributors, and his team to deliver world-leading, customer-inspired solutions.

    David Latu - Team Manager Waikato Rugby David is the former Manager of Jet Park Hamilton and was instrumental in leading his team and the hotel to become an MIQ facility during the COVID-19 pandemic. At the height of the pandemic Jet Park as an MIQ facility was almost constantly full, hosting about 2000 guests off 55 flights over two years. To ensure the comfort of the guests at a very stressful and trying time he and his team implemented a host of different activities including Zumba classes, flax-weaving tutorials, quiz nights, and bingo. Under his leadership Jet Park Hotel Hamilton went on to win the Waikato Tainui/Waikato DHB Matariki Award as well as the Air New Zealand People's Choice Award for the Waikato Chamber of Commerce business awards in 202, for their innovative care of guests during their isolation. Personally, David won the Pacific Community Leadership award at the SunPix Pacific Peoples Awards in 2022. He has a career of outstanding leadership in the hospitality sector and has worked closely with K’aute Pasifika Trust’s wellbeing navigators in the care of RSE workers. Currently David is a Team Manager for the Waikato Ruby Union.

    Speaker Profile: Nicola Greenwell - Chief Executive, Hamilton & Waikato Tourism (HWT) Nicola became the Chief Executive of Hamilton & Waikato Tourism in 2022 bringing with her years of experience and a proven track record in tourism development and management. Previously, she served as the Development Manager, focusing on capability and capacity building, data insights, and supporting existing and new tourism operators. Under Nicola's leadership, HWT has broadened its focus from marketing to destination development, transforming the region into a regenerative tourism destination that attracts international and domestic visitors, media, travel trade, and the business events sector. Nicola's diverse background includes time in the major events sector and general management experience gained while managing a sizable medical centre in Hamilton. Her expertise extends beyond HWT, as she serves as a trustee for the Balloons over Waikato Charitable Trust.
