As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will lead both strategic and operational aspects of sourcing and procurement. You'll oversee the purchasing processes, strategic planning, and negotiations, ensuring our supply chain supports corporate goals across multiple brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and guide a team of purchasing and supply chain professionals.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across supply chain, product development, and sales to optimize sourcing strategies.
Manage supplier negotiations and oversee contract lifecycle.
Act as a strategic advisor to the Managing Director on significant capital investments.
What We’re Looking For:
At least 5 years in a senior sourcing and purchasing role.
A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
Demonstrated leadership in managing teams.
Strong knowledge of procurement standards and experience with international operations, especially in Asia and Europe.
Skills:
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to manage complex contracts.
Innovative approach to sourcing and procurement.
Ability to work collaboratively and build strategic partnerships.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Fluency in English and Norwegian, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and familiarity with ERP systems like D365.
