We are looking for our OneRoche Procurement Lead for Diagnostics & Pharma business activities in Norway. The role is a shared role between the two legal entities and will report directly to the Director of Finance & Enabling in Roche Diagnostics Norge.
In this role, you will be driving the development and implementation of sourcing strategies across third-party spend as a subject matter expert to contribute to our commercial strategy. As a strategic partner to the business, you will be developing, handling and improving relationships with our third-party vendors.
The Opportunity
You develop a strong understanding of the supplier market, trends, and innovations in different categories of third-party spend
You collaborate with internal team members to create sourcing strategies that align with Roche Norway and Roche Global procurement policies
You implement and complete agile sourcing processes to ensure efficient outcomes, including effective scouting of strategic partners, supplier proposals and leading negotiations based on established strategies
You lead and drive supplier relationships to enhance efficiency, cost-savings, compliance and adopt new processes and technologies
You collaborate closely with other Procurement managers within the Nordic region and contribute to a Procurement network where you build up and exchange commodity knowledge to support the Nordic commercial strategies and drive alliances
You handle procurement operational activities to enable process excellence, data quality and adherence to Roche Global Procurement critical metrics
You lead all aspects of supplier contract setup, coordinating with other internal functions such as Legal, Finance, to ensure alignment with relevant policies and frameworks
You are the interface between the local business functions and global organizations such as Roche Shared Services Budapest, Roche Global Procurement
Who You Are
You hold a degree in Economics / Finance / Business Administration, or a related field, with an added advantage if you have a Master's degree
You have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience within procurement or a procurement-related area; experience from the life science industry is a plus. Additionally, you have validated supplier negotiation, customer management and project management experience.
You are familiar with working in a networked environment cross-functionally and across countries, including an understanding of agile methodologies
You have an entrepreneurial approach, can think holistically and excel in a fast-paced and hard-working environment
You have extensive working experience with SAP, good knowledge of Excel and are savvy with tech tools.
Strong communication skills in Norwegian & English
This role is based in Norway and will require up to 10% of business travel in order to connect and support with the Nordic Procurement network.
