Our nimble, high-impact team reports directly to the CMO and is tasked with messaging and brand development and enforcement, customer and partner co-marketing, content, design, video deliverables, organic social media, and more. We make decisions quickly, learn continuously, and are responsible to a broad set of sales and marketing stakeholders. This role is on an international team and will be based out of Oslo, Norway, with flexibility for working from home and in the office.

About The Role

This versatile role will be active in our organization's various marketing and communications activities, developing content for customer stories, media pitching/staffing, social media, websites, email, advertising, and other marketing mix elements. You will work cross-functionally with the demand generation, event, product marketing, public relations, sales enablement teams, and individual stakeholders from our executive, partnership, and community teams.

Role And Responsibilities

• Work closely with all members of the marketing team to produce content that builds brand awareness and drives pipeline via strategic marketing campaigns and initiatives; Collaborates across time zones.
• Collaboration with sales and customer success teams to story mine for interesting customer stories
• Collaboration with public relations to create press releases, media pitches, and actively pitch media
• Collaboration with Product Marketing and sales enablement to develop white papers, one-pagers, presentations, and other content that drives product understanding and accelerates sales conversations
• Collaboration with the Social Manager to produce original social content
• Collaboration with Demand Generation to support ads, emails, and website content
• Lean in and be proactive in thinking beyond listed responsibilities to create ideas that make our marketing teams more effective
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the growth of Cognite

• You are a self-starter, doer, and thinker with 3+ years of professional experience, preferably in a B2B Tech startup environment
• You are an excellent writer and storyteller
• You can work on tight deadlines and make quick design decisions
• You can work independently, take initiative, and deliver impact
• You feel comfortable working with/staffing executives
• You can learn quickly, ask questions, and make informed recommendations
• You can work efficiently and cross-functionally across multiple stakeholders and campaigns
• You have a strong desire to learn and understand complex topics and markets
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to build a well-oiled marketing machine
• You are willing and able to go beyond pure execution to contribute to strategy
• You have a strong sense of curiosity
• Experience with media relations a plus
• Experience with presentation and document design a plus
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Figma, Salesforce, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus
