Junior Accountant

Summary:

• Operational day-to-day general ledger accounting (Navision), bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Supporting on-time payments to suppliers and posting of incoming payments from customers on a daily basis
• Supporting Finance Manager Nordics

The Role:

• Processing of business transactions in accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting (Navision), incl. bank statements and intercompany transactions
• Checking, booking and paying supplier invoices
• Performing account reconciliations
• Supporting with preparation of month end, quarter end and year end financials and reporting
• Covering for teammates in their absence
• Supporting Finance Manager Nordics with daily tasks at the office
• Handling the central phone for Cavotec Norway
• Assisting with other accounting projects

Requirements:

• General Ledger accounting
• Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable
• Good knowledge of mayor ERP system (Navision preferred)
• Excellent Excel skills
• IT savy
• Couple years of relevant experience in a similar position
• Fluent knowledge of English and Norwegian (mandatory); the knowledge of any additional languages will be consider as a plus
• Teamplayer, goal oriented, proactivity, flexibility
