Finance Accounting Manager

Føn Energy Services is looking for a talented Finance & Accounting Manager to join our office in Stavanger.

Føn Energy Services is a joint venture between the Norwegian industrial companies Akastor and IKM. Our ambition is to build a leading global service provider in the energy sector. We currently serve the traditional energy, onshore wind, and offshore wind segments, and aim to achieve growth by entering new segments and regions, recruiting the best people, and differentiating through offering leading edge digital solutions. Today, Føn has around 100 employees and operates in 5 countries.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Finance & Accounting Manager to serve as a key part of our finance function.

Purpose of the position

• Serve as a key member of the finance team and execute on core accounting and finance activities, including accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll
• Provide advice and support on other finance activities, including reporting, controlling and treasury
• Provide business partnering and support to the executive management team through conducting analyses
• This role is mainly focused on our Norwegian entity, but with the option to support across our other European entities if desired

Responsibilities

Accounting

• General accounting and bookkeeping
• Monthly reconciliations and provisions of costs and revenues

Payroll and HR

• Administration and execute monthly payroll (payroll from A-Z)
• HR Admin
• Ad hoc office support

Reporting

• Weekly and monthly liquidity and profitability reporting
• VAT and other tax / regulatory filings

What are we looking for?

Experience

• 3+ years of work experience within accounting and finance
• Good understanding of accounting and payroll in Norway

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree within business, accounting, finance or related discipline
• Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English
• Proficiency in accounting software, experience in Visma Business and Visma Payroll is beneficial
