The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are looking for an Accountant, to join a global leader in construction sector for one of Norway's technical infrastructure projects involving roads, tunnels, bridges, drill and blast works.

Job Role / Responsibilities

As an Accountant, your role holds immense significance in steering towards financial success, particularly in the dynamic realm of construction projects. Your expertise will be pivotal in managing and optimizing the company's financial landscape. Your responsibilities will encompass financial audits, precision in reconciling bank statements, and ensuring unwavering accuracy in financial records throughout the year. Your insights will provide the project with comprehensive quantitative data on their financial standings, encompassing liquidity, cash flows, and steadfast adherence to tax regulations.

Project

The infrastructure project is based on the West Coast of Norway and consist of the construction of several tunnels, bridges and highways, the construction has just started and is estimated to last for at least 4 years.

Requirements

• A demonstrated track record in accounting, spanning a minimum of 5 years
• Hands-on experience within the intricacies of construction projects
• Possess a degree in accountancy or a related finance field
• Proficiency in SAP and other pertinent business systems
• In-depth experience within the Scandinavian business landscape
• Fluent Norwegian language skills are preferred, though not essential
