Føn Energy Services is announcing that Sindre Rhrich will be taking over interim CEO from Torben Hald, who will be stepping down to pursue an opportunity in a different industry, marking a new chapter of continued growth for the company. Sindre steps up from his current role as Chief Operating Officer (COO). "We are fortunate to have such a capable and motivated individual stepping up. Sindre has a proven track record, a deep understanding of the business, and a drive that will guide Føn on its way forward. Summer is here and that means intern season! This summer we have the pleasure of having Sameer Tahir interning at our Oslo office. During the course of the summer, he will have the opportunity to work with different departments across the group enabling him to get a holistic overview and really get to know us. The key objective for our interns is always to enable them to generate tangible value for us. As a result, Sameer will focus on two key areas; improve our operational excellence by developing tools that can be leveraged across the company and accelerate our M&A agenda through market screening and company analysis. End-to-end EPC solutions delivered by our team! We are very happy to share the successful delivery and installation of our latest EPCI project; Monorail & Hadef Trolley with rack & pinion drive - now operational on Aker BP ASA new turret on Skarv. The project is a prime example of our ability to offer end-to-end EPCI services in-house, spanning all the way from engineering and design to procurement and construction. We see EPC as a core area for growth with vast potential across our our offshore client portfolio. We had a great time at Polish Wind Energy Association (PSEW) Conference! Over the past couple of days our Sales Director, Paul van Tongeren, has been representing Føn Energy Services at the annual Polish Wind Energy Association (PSEW) Conference. These types of events are always great for testing our overarching value preposition directly with the customers; industrializing and digitizing the O&M market through the strong industrial support from our owners in Akastor ASA, IKM Gruppen and DISA International. We continue to get strong positive feedback on our ability to reduce interfaces and offset risk for our customers.
