Assistant Vice President, Investment Compliance & Operations

Responsibilities

1. To assist in the efficient administration of the Investment Committee (“IC”) meetings including, but not limited to, minuting, IC papers distribution, meeting coordination.
2. To assist in the update of necessary and appropriate Khazanah’s Policies, Process and Procedures for the Investments Division from time-to-time, depending on its business activities and geographical presence/operation.
3. To assist in the design and implementation of the annual compliance training program for all Investments staff, internal stakeholders and all new hires.
4. To provide timely, relevant and supportive compliance advice for all Investments staff and/or the Head of Investment Compliance & Operations on all compliance-related matters.
5. To ensure the compliance databases, compliance documents and training archives, compliance private site, and such other meaningful infrastructure is updated and reviewed from time-to-time.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business/Management/Law.
• At least 3+ years of experience in a compliance role.
• Competent drafting skills is essential as the main role for this position is to assist the Head of Investment Compliance & Operations to ensure the smooth running of the Investments Committee meetings.
• Inquisitive and curious, detail-oriented, strong analytical ability, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and possess a drive for excellence.
• Strong organisation skills and ability to work independently and effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
• A good team player who can collaborate well with internal and external counterparts, self-motivated and enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
• Constantly keep up to date with industry developments, resourceful.
