🌟 The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is pleased to announce the second Call for Proposals (CFP) of 2024 (Cycle 2/2024) for our Digital Society Research Grant (DSRG) programme! 🌟 Launched in 2020 and now in its ninth cycle, the DSRG programme aims to enhance essential information resources to meet evolving community expectations as we transition toward a sustainable digital civil society. We invite Academicians attached to Malaysian higher educational institutions to submit proposals and participate in our collaborative research efforts to promote a civil society in which information-based services play a crucial role in improving the quality of work and life. We are thrilled to share insights from the Share: Influential Leadership Talk session held today. This program is designed as part of the signature Learn, Apply, Share concept embedded in our Accelerated Leadership Programme Series (ALPs) targeted for our high-potential talents within the organisation. This engaging event, which is a participants-led initiative, brought together prominent industry leaders who are passionate change-makers to discuss topics centered around the key theme “Sustainable Futures, Crafting Resilient Pathways”. Today, our aspiring leaders at MCMC successfully completed another edition of Apply: Leadership Learning Lab stage, which is part of the prestigious Accelerated Leadership Development Program Series (ALPs). In this session, they participated in an experiential learning visit to the Aerodyne Campus at Cyberjaya. They explored the various state-of-the-art drone technology that has positioned Aerodyne as the world's number 1 drone service provider. Aerodyne Flight Institute's CEO, Mr. Izham Zakaria, presented Aerodyne's business focus and shared case studies where Aerodyne pioneers the drone services industry, providing innovative solutions across multiple sectors, including power distribution, critical asset inspection, agriculture solutions, oil & gas services, and many more. Participants engaged in disruptive learning and put on their thinking caps to work on a commercialisation project exploring DT3 (Drone Tech, Data Tech, and Digital Transformation) solutions in national key economic areas. They ideated impressive sustainable and viable solutions for untapped economic areas and pitched their ideas.
