Job Purpose

Monitors and improves processes in order to maintain or enhance Quality, HSE, Service and Costs levels on site.

Key Accountabilities

Monitors the process performance through metrics such as RFT, MME, productivity, Waste Indices and takes action as required to correct adverse trends, performing plant based process investigations.

Develops plans to improve the above performance through focused improvement activities (in conjunction with the operations group) along with capital projects.

Interfaces with off site functions such as R&D/marketing and central engineering for the industrialization of new products, new raw materials and recipe changes ensuring that changes on site are controlled and managed.

Provides expertise for on site operations group during process related troubleshooting issues.

For capital projects, executes process studies, contributes to pre-projects and performs initial project

scoping and business case development, handing over to the project group for execution (except minor projects,

During project execution, plays a major role in commissioning, start-up and training, and then owning the technology for the site.

Stays informed about, amongst others, relevant technology, company news and current SHE standards, and takes action if necessary. Identifies what the pertinent information is to use.

Contributes to site (process) improvements and contributes to CI / ALPS projects.

Is familiar and complies with all the applicable corporate as well as site and laboratory policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct, HSE and Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) standards

Key Activities

• The job holder must have understanding of the process in order to Analyze the process down time and prepare the action to improve it as well as KPI
• Has basic knowledge of problem solving and basic training on safety in order to solve the problems.
• Share the best practice to other site with fluent language skills
  
  

Requirements

• Fresh Industry, Engineering or Chemistry graduate, overseas stint from school or internship is preferred
• Fluent in English is necessary.
• Extrovert with strong communication skills and cross-cultural communication experience
• Positive attitude, high learning agility and adaptability
