Business Development Manager
Role Mission
The Business Development Manager will act as pivotal function for the growth of the Company, taking the lead for new projects and coordinating other functions involved
Key Accountabilities
- Scout new business opportunities (for all channels) consistent with the overall company vision
- Ensure overall project management (from business opportunity to actual implementation), taking the lead towards other functions involved (mainly Retail, Merchandising, Store Planning, Financial Control, Legal, etc)
- Analyze the competitive scenario, ensuring alignment between Company’s development strategy and market potential
- Manage the negotiations with business partners, for all channels/projects, fully representing the company
- Ensure full alignment and consistency across all functions involved in projects
- With the support of Legal team, be accountable for the preparation of master-agreements, contracts, MOU’s, LOI’s, legal executive summaries, etc.
- Report in a timely manner the status update of negotiations/projects in progress
- Keep track of actual achievements from completed projects
- Partner with stakeholders at group level, aiming at creating synergies
- Partner with internal peers, also for technical/business negotiations
Key Requirements
- Relevant experience in Retail, Retail Business Development and Real Estate
- Significant and documented record of successfully concluded projects, both in real estate and through third parties
- Experience in international environment (specifically in Luxury/Fashion retail industry as plus)
- Team management skills
- Excellent communication skills at any level of the organization
- Analytical skills and ability to efficiently work on executive presentations
