We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented People Operations Assistant Manager to join our team in Seoul. This role will be pivotal in ensuring HR compliance, developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and handling various HR-related tasks. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the labor laws and HR practices within South Korea and bring a solution-focused approach to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Compliance: Ensure all HR processes and documents are compliant with South Korean labor laws and regulations. Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and implement necessary adjustments.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Draft, update, and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's policy and operational needs.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and queries. Facilitate conflict resolution and promote a positive work environment.
- HR Administration: Oversee administrative tasks including but not limited to maintaining employee records, processing HR-related documentation, and managing HR databases.
- HR Reporting: Prepare HR reports and analyze data for insights related to turnover, hiring, and other HR metrics.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on HR compliance and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of South Korean employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication skills in both Korean and English. Mandarins will be a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
