Liberty International School is seeking a self-motivated, yet teachable educator, with training and experience in teaching middle and high school level Mathematics. The successful candidate will have agood understanding of student-centered instruction and the use of inquiry to support learning. The successful candidate will be able to use technology inthe classroom and create materials as needed. Additionally, this teacher willbe proactive, thinking of new or more effective ways to conduct instruction.Finally, the successful candidate will be able to explain the importance ofworking with others, valuing diversity, and differentiating learning.
Qualifications andExperience:
University degree – Possess at least a BA or BS in the relevant field.
Work experience – Have at least 2 years of teaching experience in a high school in the relevant subject.
Familiarity with IB or IGCSE mathematics is required.
Holidays:
Most national holidays off; summer break(approx. 1.5 month), winter break (approx. 2.5 weeks), spring break, and GoldenWeek break.
