Technical Support Analyst


OVERVIEW:

KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named “Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)” operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide back-office support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”).

JOB SUMMARY:

The Technical Support Analyst plays a crucial role in partnering with the Client to test and execute various parts of the Compensation and Performance Development process. This role is responsible for multiple deliverables including conducting User Acceptance Testing of SuccessFactors modules, staging data, validating production deployment, and assisting with internal process documentation/SOPs. The position requires the ability to work independently, strong technical and analytical skills, and an aptitude for attention to detail.​

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Delivery

  • Perform activities associated with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Assist in documenting business processes and updating UAT test plans.
  • Collaborate with team leads to understand the project’s scope to support the Compensation & Performance Development process.
  • Adhere to project timelines and milestones to ensure timely delivery of work products.
  • Use independent judgment to create and select methods to complete work assignments.
  • Analyze and address issues by evaluating alternatives within various established procedures. Decisions are subject to review by higher levels of onshore management.
  • Develop cooperative and productive relationships and the ability to respond and adapt to change quickly.
  • Proactively communicate with onshore stakeholders to raise questions/clarifications and identify issues with deliverables and deadlines.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENC

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field from an accredited college or university required.
  • Minimum three (3) years related work experience.
  • Experience with UAT.
  • Experience with documentation.
  • Proficient understanding of Excel, JIRA, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.


Special Conditions

  • Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.
  • May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
