The General Manager is responsible for leading commercial efforts to promote, solicit and increase the sales of products, business development, operations management and cost management improvements.
Some key responsibilities are:
Elaborate and review the annual business plan, according to the parent’s company’s strategy, projection of industry, projects in negotiation and internal policies.
Operate and manage the day-to-day business and affairs of the Company in a manner consistent with the Annual Operating Plan, and the Company budget.
Propose revisions to the Annual Operating Plan and budget for submission to the Board for approval.
Role Objectives are:
Execution of the business plan approved by the board of directors
Establish the correct tools to deliver the joint strategy with the parent’s companies
Ensure integration of all sources of information to monthly accounting/financial statements.
Ensure compliance with the policies and execution of projects in different countries with staff who are not directly in charge.
Maintenance of costs within approved budget.
Continuous improvement in the indicators of management for the team in charge and of the position
This role reports into multiple stakeholders including a Board and Senior Business Leaders. In addition, this role is responsible for leading an established senior leadership team with a HC of 700+.
