Part 2: We had a project delivery on September 1st, exactly one year from the day Lakshya started. We were working on a game called Infected for Planet Moon Studios. The game was set in New York City three weeks before Christmas and depicted a city infected with a virus turning people into zombies. We worked on a couple of characters but focused mainly on creating a 3D version of the iconic Rockefeller Center in New York. It was a different energy back then. Gaming in India was not what it is today. The industry was in its nascent stage, and there weren’t a lot of people doing what we were doing. But we knew one thing: this journey was going to catapult into something bigger very soon, and we wanted to be ready for that. So, while we were working on projects, we were simultaneously training our artists, especially in 3D. This photograph reflects exactly this—celebrating our small wins while getting fully ready for the future we knew we were heading towards.
