Last week, we hosted our first fully accessible in-person event in celebration of Disability Pride Month. We were joined by Dr Shani Dhanda, Victoria Jenkins, model Emma Lines and presenter Moeed Majeed for an open discussion on the future of inclusive fashion, considerations in creating adaptive products and the importance of representation for the disabled community.    We’re committed to making Primark a more accessible place to work and shop and recently announced our partnership with Victoria Jenkins, as the next step in our mission to bring affordable, adaptive fashion to the high street.   Thank you to all who joined us for making the day so special and you can check out the highlights below 💜

Bună Timișoara! An exciting day as we open the doors to Primark Iulius Mall, Timișoara, our third store in Romania and first in west of the country. Representing an investment of over €10 million, the store has created 150 new jobs and brings our affordable offering to even more customers in Romania. This opening is part of our ambitious growth plans in Central and Eastern Europe, where we now have 14 stores, and we’re not stopping here with two further stores planned in Cluj-Napoca and Craiova, Romania in the coming years. #Primark #NewStore

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Circular Textiles Foundation and launch an advanced circular design training programme, building on our foundational training in 2023. Engaging our colleagues involved in the designing, buying and making our clothes in circularity principles and embedding circular design in these processes is a key step towards our commitment to making our clothes recyclable by design by 2027. We're committed to promoting equal opportunities for women in our supply chain, and partnering with the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) we explored male management attitudes towards gender equity in four factories in India. The research highlights workplace norms and societal views that affect women. Celebrating 3 years of our Love it for Longer Programme! We want to encourage our customers to love and wear their clothes for longer. One of the ways we’re doing this is through our free repair workshops which aim to inspire and empower people to re-love and revamp their clothing. Over the last three years, we have been proud to host events across our markets such as Italy & The Netherlands to name a few, offering free spaces to colleagues & customers. In addition, we have 13 helpful how to videos across 6 languages available on our website & social channels. Earlier this year, the programme was awarded Best Customer Engagement Campaign at the Draper’s sustainable Fashion Awards. Super proud of Martha, one of our part-time store colleagues who, together with her Waterford store and Sean (the DJ for the night), produced this amazing fashion show. With Martha as the inspiration, the store team organised the show for their local charity Down Syndrome Waterford & South Kilkenny, raising over €3000 on the night.   This was a real community event with colleagues and families coming together to support each other.   Well done team 😊

You'll manage and oversee the launch of new visual merchandising campaigns, providing direction and inspiration to the visual merchandising team to deliver effective campaigns.
