Leaders from Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore come together in Bandung Indonesia for a Leadership Retreat. Through the "Kenangan Race" we visited multiple Kopi Kenangan stores in Bandung; experienced the challenges of being a Baperista from calibration, pulling shots, cashiering, and upselling to walk-in customers; as well as creating Tik-Tok videos for social media. We come together in a team building setting, whereby Edward Tirtanata, our Group CEO, shared his vision to take the company forward. We also have further insights of the personality traits that make the team; this allow us to understand the team better. This action greatly help us to segregate plastic cup from residual waste, all for greater plastic cup value. In every cup of Kopi Kenangan Mantan, there lies a story behind each ingredient; and it's time to bring out our special 'Gula Aren'. Our smoky and natural 'Gula Aren' came from one of the villages in Garut, where most of the residents are working as 'Gula Aren' farmers. Last year (2023), through Kenangan BAIK under Kenangan Berdaya pillar, we give our support by providing farming & cooking equipment; as well as public facilities such as public toilet (MCK) to support their productivity. This provision is expected to ensure more than 1,000 local residents with improved life quality and productivity. In 2022, we started our sustainability journey under the name Kenangan BAIK, to showcase our commitment under four pillars. One of it's pillar, Kenangan Berdaya, is focused on delivering positive impacts to our farming community through infrastructure development. After years' of effort, together with TNI AD (Indonesian Army), we built three (3) water sources in Flores, NTT, which will deliver clean water to more than +6,000 people! Kenangan Brands held 'Buka Bersama' together with children at Yayasan Darus Sholihat and Rumah Belajar Kreatif PASQI at the newly opened Kenangan Signature, Botani Square Bogor. Aside from intimate 'Buka Bersama' session, Kenangan Brands also provides support to both foundations in form of food supplies and 'Tunjangan Hari Raya' for the children as part of our culture. Not only we had fun playing games with these amazing children, but also enlightened by Ustadz Tubagus Faqih during his 'Kultum'.
