Chief Financial Officer (HK Listed)

A leading Technology and Retail giant headquartered in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced and accomplished Chief Financial Officer to join the team. This position will play a crucial role in transforming the company's financial operations and driving strategic financial initiatives to support growth and profitability objectives. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this position requires a strategic leader with expertise in the Consumer business, Finance Transformation, Business Partnering, and Stakeholder Management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute short, medium, and long-term finance strategies aligned with business profitability objectives.
• Provide financial recommendations and guidance to the Board of Directors and CEO, ensuring effective decision-making and financial performance.
• Oversee and ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and cash flow management.
• Identify and assess financial risks, implementing effective risk management strategies.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities to mitigate financial risks.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Lead and manage a decentralized accounting team of 50+ individuals, fostering a high-performing and efficient working environment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions.
• Provide financial insights and presentations to shareholders, board of directors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Significant experience as a Chief Financial Officer in finance leadership roles, with a successful track record in Finance Transformation, Business Partnering, and Stakeholder Management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience in sizeable organizations.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is essential.
• Proven ability to lead at a strategic level while also being hands-on and detail-oriented.
