Nanjing ifc mall has officially opened! An opening ceremony was held last week, with Mayor of Nanjing City Chen Zhichang, SHKP Chairman and Managing Director Raymond Kwok, Executive Directors Christopher Kwok and Maureen Fung officiating. Spanning over one million square feet of retail space, the mall boasts an array of world-renowned brands and high-quality restaurants. Welcome to our summer interns at SHKP! In our Summer Internship Programme (Hong Kong) this year, over 20 university students are getting hands-on experience through on-the-job assignments in various departments and taking part in different training programmes. In addition, the Group is continuing its support for the government's Scheme on Corporate Summer Internship on the Mainland and Overseas 2024, offering an eight-week internship programme. They are now working in our offices in Shanghai and Guangzhou to broaden their horizons and acquire first-hand experience in the Group's businesses and operations. This summer, the Group launched three shopping malls in the northwest New Territories, offering residents and visitors new destinations for a relaxing shopping and leisure experience! YOHO MIX and YOHO PLUS, together with the flagship centre YOHO MALL I and YOHO MALL II, have created a 1.2-million-square-foot mega shopping destination in the northwest New Territories. SHKP believes in going beyond just developing quality properties - we also dedicate significant efforts towards bettering the surrounding community. The Sai Sha infrastructure enhancement project, undertaken in tandem with the Sai Sha mega development, is the largest of its kind for the Group in recent years. The project includes: • Widening about 1.5km of Sai Sha Road from a single two-way carriageway to a dual two-way carriageway, as well as the construction of a new 0.7km single two-way carriageway called Hoi Ying Road • Enhancing the transport, cycling and pedestrian facilities, like the construction of three footbridges equipped with lifts and the building of new cycle tracks • Improving the drainage, sewerage and water supply systems • Building a community facility block These wide-ranging infrastructure upgrades are designed to benefit the entire local community, not just the future residents of the Sai Sha mega development.
