CENTROlink’s new safeguarding requirements 🏦 By April 2025, CENTROlink will require its customers to safeguard customer funds in third-party banks. This leaves a short timeframe for finding a partner bank willing to open a safeguarding account, onboarding with these partner banks, building an integration, and setting up safeguarding workflows. ⚡ The number of SEPA instant payments just went above 3 million daily on EBA RT1 in June, showing 17% growth in volume between January and June alone! However, SEPA is still lagging behind in terms of share of instant payment compared to our neighbours in the UK and Poland. The Instant Payments Regulation will fix that — on paper.
