Marketing Analyst (m/w/d)

As a marketing analyst you will be responsible for collecting and interpreting web and internal data, identifying target audiences, improving campaign performances, and evaluating profitability between channels. You will help to bridge the gap between internal data teams and marketing teams. The focus will be on our credit card markets, especially Germany, Austria, and Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data of former performances to get an overall picture.
  • Review campaigns to identify quality differences, trends, and general campaign results.
  • Collaborate with teams within analytics and risk area and other ones in different geographical locations.
  • Bridge between internal data teams and marketing initiatives
  • Analyze bonus campaigns and customer activity over time.
  • Analyze CPL/CPO to profit & break even in consideration of RAM and give directions for negotiations.
  • Use profitable customers groups and identify from which sources they were generated.
  • Based on findings, define directions for the sales and marketing team
  • Keeping us updated on competitor performances.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, etc.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics or a related field preferably in a financial institution.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English to be able to collaborate with colleagues from other countries.
  • Market knowledge for German, Spanish and UK market is beneficial.
  • Experience working with large datasets and using statistical analysis techniques.
  • Ability to develop strategies and implement analytic solutions.
  • Proven experience in data analysis and visualization tools, such as SQL, Excel, R, Python, or similar tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Oversee analytic operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
