Director of Product Management

First Point Group is looking for a Director of Product Management specialising in messaging solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing telecom software company pioneering wholesale messaging solutions. To be successful, you will work cross functionally with the R&D, product, and sales teams to develop product updates and features.

This is a fully remote position however there will be frequent travel every month

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
• Customer Focus: Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure our products deliver exceptional value.
• Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure cohesive product development and go-to-market strategies.
• Performance Metrics: Define and track key product metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-informed decisions.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present product updates and insights to senior management and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
• Innovation: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the product team, staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of professional experience in product management in the telecom space
• Experience in the wholesale and/or enterprise messaging space
• Willingness to travel, engage, learn, and leverage your past to intelligently evolve the future
