We conducted a third-party validation of GameChange Solar's advanced bifacial photovoltaic (PV) modeling performance. Thank you, GameChange Solar, for trusting our team! 👏🏻 #RenewableEnergy #Solar #PV #BifacialPV #Innovation #SolarTrackers
TECHNICAL UPDATE ➡️ We're excited to share that GameChange Solar has achieved a significant milestone - Our #bifacialPV modeling performance has been independently validated by Enertis Applus+, a renowned authority in renewable energy. Enertis Applus+ conducted a rigorous review of our methodology, confirming the reliability and accuracy of our bifacial modeling techniques. “Bifacial modules can increase the cost of a solar module by 1-2 cents per watt, so the modeling accuracy with solar trackers is extremely important to justify the higher cost,” said Vikas Bansal, GameChange Solar’s International President. “Having our modeling performance validated by Enertis Applus+ is important to ensure our clients achieve greater energy production and lower LCOE." Great news coming from Western Australia's renewable energy landscape: the launch of the Capacity Investment Scheme (CIS) tender! 🇦🇺 Scheduled to begin in mid-July, this pioneering initiative aims to procure 500MW of renewable energy capacity, capable of dispatching 2,000MWh over a 4-hour period. Projects will integrate into Western Australia's SWIS transmission network, contributing to the state's Wholesale Electricity Market. Selected projects will advance to the financial bid stage between September and November, with results announced by February 2025. 📅 The CIS not only supports Australia's goal of achieving 82% renewable electricity by 2030 but also facilitates the retirement of coal-fired power plants, promoting a sustainable energy future. #RenewableEnergy #EnergyStorage #CISTender #WesternAustralia #EnertisApplus

Eurelectric's latest report reveals a groundbreaking achievement: in H1 2024, 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 (𝟓𝟎.𝟑𝟗%) 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐔'𝐬 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲! 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 include: - Onshore Wind (228.8TWh) & Hydropower (220.7TWh) were the main contributors. - Solar (137TWh) is set for a record year, potentially generating 274TWh by the end of 2024, surpassing coal for the first time. - The data showcases a five-year trend of increasing renewable energy integration, with wind, hydro, and solar surpassing fossil fuels and nuclear power. Despite these successes, challenges remain, particularly in aligning electricity demand with the growing supply of renewables. Policymakers are responding with initiatives like the Net Zero Industry Act (NZIA) and the European Solar Academy to support the sector's future. #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #Wind #Hydropower #Solar #Decarbonization #EU #Europe #ApplusRenewables 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞: https://lnkd.in/g6mKRRMk
