La competencia por el talento se ha convertido en una de las grandes batallas en el mundo empresarial. El entorno aún más volátil que quedó tras la pandemia, con el fenómeno de la Gran Resignación como telón de fondo, ha tenido réplicas de la mano de nuevos entrantes digitales, la aparición de puestos de trabajo inimaginables hace algunos años y en general un cambio de paradigma en la relación empleador-empleado.   En este escenario, la fortaleza y reconocimiento de la marca son atributos clave para la captación y retención de #talento. Pero no los únicos. La ecuación incluye otras variables, como la #cultura empresarial, las condiciones laborales, la retribución, el talento de la plantilla existente, el plan de carrera, la formación interna y un largo etcétera.   Es un tema que cuidamos mucho en Santander y que nos posiciona como una marca empleadora de referencia. Un buen ejemplo es el Graduate Programme y el Summer Internship Programme que todos los años lanzamos en nuestro negocio de Santander Corporate & Investment Banking y que recibe de media más de 25.000 candidaturas de todo el mundo para apenas 300 plazas (https://lnkd.in/dp8izgfm). Antes de ayer estuve precisamente reunido con uno de los participantes en este programa, Jaime Calderón, que me decía lo interesante que le ha resultado este programa, lo que ha aprendido, los buenos compañeros que ha encontrado y lo atractivo que le resulta el banco como mejor lugar para trabajar.   La presencia global de Santander es un aspecto muy valorado porque nos permite centralizar las ofertas de empleo y ampliar nuestra ambición de nuevo talento a prácticamente cualquier país del mundo. Lo hemos visto recientemente con dos plazas abiertas en nuestro Servicio de Estudios, a las que han aplicado más de 500 profesionales. O con el talento tecnológico, tan demandado ahora y que centralizamos a través de la plataforma Be tech!, que sólo en 2023 nos permitió incorporar más de 4.500 perfiles digitales (https://lnkd.in/d_qNkKGq).

🍇 On the banks of the River Minho, near Ourense, Spain, lies Ramón do Casar, a family vineyard managed by three brothers. The vineyard was founded on the dream of Ramón González, who migrated to Venezuela before returning to buy vineyards in Galicia. Over the years, his sons have expanded and consolidated these vineyards, producing high-quality Ribeiro wine. In 2022, their dedication was recognised when their wine was awarded "Wine of the Year" by Spain’s Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Supply. Our global businesses have contributed to a strong performance, leading us to upgrade our 2024 targets (revenue growth, efficiency and return on tangible equity).
