This morning, we conducted the first of two global meetings being held today, livestreamed to thousands of colleagues all over the world. 🌍 The meetings, hosted by Dennis Kaysen, VP Global Communications, Branding & Design, included a look at our Q3 results with CFO Anders Lonning Skovgaard, which you can read about in our full earnings release here: https://lnkd.in/eK8P-fsC We then took a closer look at our Coloplast culture and asked: If you were at a dinner party, how would you explain what it’s like to work at Coloplast? To answer that question, we caught up with Dorthe Rønnau, Senior Vice President of People & Culture, Lauren Bedard Thomsen, Senior Director, Talent & Organisation Development and Maria Hyldgaard Viskum, Senior Media Excellence & Ambassador Manager, to discuss life at Coloplast, as well as what it takes to keep adding great new people to our growing organisation. The awards include Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award, Good Design Japan, Good Design US, German Design Award, and IDEA (International Design Excellence Awards), and the product has been evaluated on a variety of criteria, such as advancements within its product category, improvements for users, societal impact, and design aesthetics. “We are constantly working on bringing the best experiences to our users, and we do this by balancing four elements: Being ambitious on behalf of our users, respectful about the situations that they are in, having a clear purpose, and making attractive solutions. Coloplast has officially broken ground in Portugal! ⛏️ Last week, we broke ground at Felgueiras in the Northern part of Portugal, signalling the start of our growth plan to extend our production capabilities throughout Europe, beyond our current operations in Hungary. The new manufacturing site will produce Coloplast’s intermittent catheters used by people suffering from urinary retention, such as people with a spinal cord injury or spina bifida, who are unable to empty their bladder. Allan Rasmussen, EVP of Global Operations, attended the ground breaking ceremony and expressed his enthusiasm for the new facility: “We are very excited to break ground on this new site, which will enable us to provide high-quality intermittent catheters to more people who need them. This facility is not only a strategic investment for our company, but also a testament to our commitment to improving the lives of people with urinary retention. We are proud to be a leader in this field, and we look forward to expanding our presence and impact in Europe and beyond." The facility is expected to be fully operational by 2026 and will serve the increasing global demand for intermittent catheters, especially in Europe which is the company's largest market. #Coloplast #MakingLifeEasier
