As golf at Paris 2024 gets underway, we recently caught up with Golf Sport Manager for the games, Paul Ian Armitage to see how the tournament course has put sustainability front and centre of its preparations. Commenting on their achievements, Syngenta’s Global Head of Marketing for Turf & Landscape, Mark B., said: “Le Golf National can act as a valuable example to others on so many levels: it was created from reclaimed land, is GEO Foundation for Sustainable Golf Certified and actively collaborates with local and national bodies to progress its environmental credentials. Its commitment is clear for all to see. “On the ground, the turf team have navigated the fine balance between protecting and enhancing the natural environment, creating a product and challenge competitors will embrace, and one that showcases the course favourably to the viewing public.” To hear more insights from Paul, watch the full video here: https://lnkd.in/eyrWuUQM #golf #sustainability #olympics
