Social media is a powerful platform for connecting people and brands. It's also a place where narratives can be shaped, and perceptions can change. Through the "Not Playing Games" campaign, Paralympians are at the forefront of this shift, boldly challenging misconceptions and reminding the world that they are not simply participants, but highly competitive athletes.   The campaign offers valuable lessons for brands looking to create meaningful impact: - Clarity is Key: Clearly articulate your overarching goal and directly address any misconceptions. - Inclusivity Matters: Use language that resonates with both your current and target audiences. - Storytelling is Powerful: Share compelling stories that illustrate the purpose of your campaign. At ICUC, we believe choosing the right language can create narratives that inspire, resonate, and drive change. Cheers to all of the athletes not participating!

Meet Melinda Esses Naanous (Lin Esses). Before becoming a Senior Operations Specialist at ICUC, she was a gymnast, diver, and dancer. Competing nationally, she didn't consider the Olympics until she saw her coach, Stefan Marinov, on TV with Mexican Olympic medalist Fernando Platas (pictured here) and Yahel Castillo. Imagine her surprise when she learned Stefan was their coach too! A knee injury quashed her Olympic dreams, however, Lin has applied the life lessons she learned as an athlete to her career and beyond. “Being an athlete from a young age has taught me many lessons. It’s important to keep trying until you reach your goal."

Work Flex: Being an internet gremlin from anywhere in the world. 👾 For Content Specialist Liam Morgan, engaging isn’t just about creating in-the-moment connections with each fan he replies to. It’s a chance to understand their priorities, identify opportunities to improve their experience and develop actionable insights for his clients. His contributions are not only taken seriously but are truly appreciated.

ICUC is 24/7 available. But, so are AI social media influencers. Crafted by 3D artists, these virtual personalities are a personality of their own -- followers take fashion advice, tech reviews, and more from these faux humans. Is your brand looking to turn to AI influencers? Risks: 1. Devaluation of human innovation 2. Authenticity and human connection 3. Higher competition 4. Transparency and disclosure 🤖  But, there are opportunities, too. It's up to you. Learn more:  https://lnkd.in/g--9HnKq #ai #virtualinfluencers #digitaltransformation

The new viral frozen grape trend on #TikTok isn’t just a tasty snack—it’s a sales driver! With millions of views and 1.04 billion monthly users around this particular food trend, TikTok and its users are influencing the food economy. The frozen grape hack has been popular for three years now, because of two key reasons: accessibility and customizability. “Grapes are easy to find at any grocery store... It’s an easy snacking hack that other content creators can build upon,” says Petra Khan, Associate Director of Strategy at ICUC.Social. Brands, especially food and restaurant providers, can boost their engagement and IRL business, by knowing these trends 🍇.
