    I started a new role at Ask-AI 2 months ago. I was describing to a friend how I feel about work right now — how I look forward to an average Tuesday in the office, get energized by the drive of my teammates, and feel encouraged to experiment without fear of failure. He said I sounded inspired. I don’t often use that word to describe my state, but he’s right — I am inspired. A bonus of the world I’m now living in is that I’m experiencing - and benefiting from - the future of work in real-time. It's wild. I was onboarded with an AI assistant that answered 90% of the questions I had in the first few weeks, from silly things like where I could find the latest org chart to complex product questions that I’d usually need to get a demo on to understand. I now use AI to re-write copy in our brand voice & tone. I use it find communities that our ICP hangs out in. And I use it to summarize sales calls so that I can understand the quality of conversations our campaigns are generating. It's not an understatement to say that I now use AI multiple times every hour and for ~70% of the things I work on. It’s not that I couldn’t do the work without it — I have for most of my career. But I’m WAY faster with it. And the floor of my output is much higher most days. Do you feel similarly? If so, I'd love to learn how you're using AI at work.     Working from home is like eating ice cream It’s really great, but you shouldn’t do it every day 😂 When we made the decision to open and office here in #Toronto I was the only employee at Ask-AI outside our HQ and there was great debate about in person and remote environments Ultimately we decided it was a key part of the culture we wanted to build in the company. Fast forward a few months and it’s crazy to see how much we’ve evolved. Returning to an office has been a rewarding experience. We’re working faster, learning together and building a team we’re really proud of. At the end of the day, I think any work style is do-able. What’s really important is getting clear about what’s best for your team and recruiting/building around that. Very grateful for this bunch!     We Ran An Ask-AI Hackathon This Week – Here’s What We Learned ✨ Many companies are struggling to implement AI effectively across their organizations, particularly when the mandate has been top-down in nature. We took a different approach by involving the entirety of our team from the start, and it’s been a game-changer. Here’s how our recent “Ask-AI for Ask-AI” 💡 hackathon made a significant impact: Employees Already Know What They Want AI to Improve: Our employees are the best people to identify existing bottlenecks in our organization and find ways to improve their own effectiveness. They know the day-to-day challenges and have the most practical insights into what can be optimized. So let them tell you what needs to be fixed! “What’s in it for me?“: Beyond the cool prizes, giving employees a real reason to participate — like improving their own daily work life — ensures higher engagement. When they see the direct benefits to their own work, their motivation soars. It is also the best driver for adoption. Useful Across Every Department: Every department – from R&D, Research, Data Analysis, HR, Success, Sales, to Marketing – had ideas on how to transform their real daily work into automated workflows using Ask-AI, significantly improving effectiveness. Ease of Use: It was remarkable to see that EVERY employee, regardless of their technical level, could build their own app on Ask-AI. Teamwork and Fun: Working together towards a shared goal was not only productive but also incredibly fun. The energy, enthusiasm, and camaraderie during the hackathon were truly inspiring. There’s a second part to this week’s Hackathon. Over the next month, we’re tracking how often these newly-created AI workflows are used here at Ask-AI – and the team whose apps save the most work time for Ask-AI will win an additional prize.
