We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Arndell Park Team. The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to suppliers, ownership of accounts payable suppliers ledger, resolving accounts payable queries, setting up payments to suppliers with subsequent allocations completed & remittances sent.
Responsibilities
Maintaining healthy supplier relationships
Accounts payables queries attended and resolved via telephone and mailbox
Set up new supplier account
Process invoices into the accounts payable system; ensuring accurate processing within deadlines
Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues to ensure prompt payments
Perform Statement of accounts Reconciliations monthly
Management of Accounts Payable Mailbox
Ensuring supplier ledgers are up to date with no discrepancies
Payment runs setup and allocations of accounts paid
Provide remittances to suppliers on a timely manner
Assist with month end closing
Complete credit application forms
Verify and process employee expense claims and manage the approval and payment process
Perform all other duties as assigned and required by Accounts Payable Manager
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Officer for over 3 years
Intermediate level - Excel and Microsoft Office
Proficient user of finance software
High level of accuracy coupled with strong work ethic
Strong organisational ability to multi-task and prioritise daily tasks
Excellent attention to detail as dealing with supplier accounts and invoices
Exceptional communication skills to liaise with all people at all levels (both internal and external)
Has experience working in a fast paced environment
MYOB/PRONTO experience desirable
