  • It’s always wonderful to have the Herd MSL team visit for a day of corporate volunteering! They are always ready to roll up their sleeves and get cooking for people doing it tough in the community. Thank you, Herd, for not only providing these heart-warming meals but also for your continued support in helping Dignity craft and share important stories about homelessness in Australia. We’re also so grateful for your donation of products to our guest homes you brought with you today!

  • Thank you Amazon Web Services (AWS) for yet again stepping up in support of people at risk of homelessness. Last week, we were blessed with beautiful sunshine, a perfect venue, and plenty of smiles as 150 Amazonians came together for a day of corporate volunteering. The team completed an incredible task of packing 500 food hampers! This extraordinary achievement wouldn't have been possible without the team's logistics planning and the efforts of each team member. These food hampers will make a significant difference in the lives of 500 individuals and families in need within our community. Thank you Amazon Web Services!

  • Thank you to the team at Mercer Marsh who visited Dignity's kitchen for a COOK4DIGNITY corporate volunteering day, making beautiful and warming meals for people at risk of homelessness in the local community. There are so many people doing it tough right now and these meals will go a small way in easing the financial burden of putting food on the table. Interested in a team building activity with a side of impact? Why not consider a COOK4DIGNITY day in North Parramatta? Learn more or sign up at https://bit.ly/3LZ3foZ

  • Landcom came close to setting a new record for the most meals cooked by a corporate volunteering group in our North Parramatta kitchen, preparing 390 meals with just 8 team members. A huge effort!! All the meals look delicious especially the chicken and pumpkin cous cous. Thank you for donating your time to cook homemade meals for people at risk of homelessness in the community. Your contribution has made a significant difference, and we couldn’t be more grateful for your support!

  • Cost of living and the lack of affordable rentals has meant finding a path out of homelessness is more challenging than ever. Dignity’s innovative Ready To Work Housing program provides people experiencing homelessness with an opportunity to find a way forward through employment with residents provided stable housing for up to 12 months, a guaranteed employment opportunity and wrap-around support. Ready To Work Housing significantly increases a person’s housing affordability to break the cycle of homelessness for good.

  • Appliances Online and Winning Group have supported Dignity as a Gold partner for two years and this week, we were able to present General Manager James Bartlett, and his team with a certificate of appreciation for their ongoing support of Dignity and people at risk of or experiencing homelessness. The team generously also took the opportunity to pack 200 toiletry packs for our guests. Thank you also to Unilever who donated the toiletry pack items. Collaboration is key to achieving greater impact and we are appreciative of our corporate partners who share our vision of ending homelessness, one person at a time.

  • With more than 122,000 people in Australia without a safe place to stay, Dignity’s supported temporary accommodation provides a safe and comfortable place for guests during their time of crisis, with homemade meals in the fridge, brand new clothing and crucial person-centred, trauma informed support from our dedicated onsite team. In many instances, homelessness can be solved quickly if the right support response is provided at the outset of someone’s homelessness.
