Congratulations to the Victorian Public Sector Women of Colour Network (WoCN) on your fifth-anniversary event, marking another achievement in the Networks’ successful history. Over 150 members, allies and executives came together to celebrate the VPS WoCN’s achievements in advocating for gender equality, cultural diversity and anti-racism. The event featured talks from Victorian Public Sector Commissioner Brigid Monagle and Mind Tribes CEO Div Pillay on the importance of staff-led networks and the need to dismantle structural barriers for women of colour. As well as WoCN founder Celia Tran sharing her reflections on the Network’s evolution and accomplishments, with former and current Chairs echoing these sentiments. Thank you to Djirri Djirri for their performance and to the members who shared their stories and experiences.
