Our Communications and Engagement team recently held an Enrolment Marketing Forum for our school-based marketing contacts to support their enrolment marketing endeavours. 📱 The Forums aimed to provide school staff with the marketing, enrolment, and social media skills and knowledge they need, in order to share the incredible stories and unique ethos and values of their amazing schools. “We were very proud to be asked by the University of Melbourne to share BCE’s journey in early years literacy at the conference." BCE staff recently shared key insights, learnings and future plans for BCE’s journey in early years literacy at the International Association for Research in Literacy Education and International Federation of the Teaching of English (ARLE/IFTE) Conference. BCE Lead Education Advisor (Learning, Teaching & Curriculum) Brent Johnston said, “sharing our journey, and listening to other presentations at the conference, truly affirmed the work that BCE has undertaken to build teacher capacity and agency.” Senior Cluster Manager (School Progress & Performance) Trudi Lucas and Education Officer (Literacy) Rachael Hill joined Brent in leading a practical workshop, demonstrating BCE's evidence-based literacy practices in action. Planning for the second Leads Others Summit is underway after the successful launch of the inaugural program at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre last month. Officially opened by BCE Executive Director Dr Sally Towns, the Leads Others Summit activates our leaders across school teams and BCE offices to be culture game-changers, connected in faith and purpose. Organisational Culture, Leadership and Capability Senior Manager Tammie Bennett said participants were immersed in experiences to build adaptive leadership skills to meet the often-complex problems our leaders face. “Leaders were connected to our culture aspiration and activated their role as culture game-changers, with our unique Catholic Tradition differentiator being front and centre of our leadership,” shared Tammie. Nominations for 21 August summit are now open and available to BCE school leadership and BCEO leads via iLearn. This year, Kimberley has embarked on her newest role as Head of School (Primary) at St Augustine’s College, Augustine Heights, with a key focus on building a united school culture.
