Contract Officer

Represent the company by participating in client meetings, offering legal consultations, and diligently following up with existing clients, including organizing and preparing documents for case filings.

Analyze and identify legal risks associated with all business transactions, providing remedies and keeping senior management across departments informed about developments in laws and regulations that may impact the business.

Draft, review, amend, comment on, and negotiate the content of legal agreements across various domains, advise on design submissions and cost plans submitted by consultants, including Pre-Tender Estimates and ensure congruity and to minimize patent and latent ambiguities

Prepare English arbitration cases, specifically in the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Dubai International Arbitration Centre.

Produce information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, and editing documents for official purposes, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.

Assist in the preparation of legal and contractual documents such as; Request for Proposals (RFP) and other legal or contractual documents Interpret and explain contract requirements, terms and conditions to stakeholders to support compliance with statutory and policy requirements and inform decision-making.

Support stakeholder in monitoring contract performance against agreed terms, given the volume of contracts being administered and Coordinate with clients to guarantee terms of contracts are fulfilled in compliance with the terms and regulation’s.

Lead the continuous improvement of contract processes through refining contract formulation activities, systems and procedure.

Drafting Agreements, NDA, MOU and legal letters, notices, commercial and supplier Agreements, JVC etc. With legal perspective, review supplier Trade License for the trade activity, review and vetting of supplier and lease agreements to highlight the legal risks to the management.

Scrutiny of Tender RFPs, EOI, LOA, Bid Evaluations & Documentations, interpret agreements in line to the applicable laws and identify the risks, negotiations with client/supplier in line to the contract and the general terms.

Responsible for Lease Agreements (Camp & Retail units) – DPA Camp, End-to-end Supplier Tender Process from Tender Invitation to LOA/Contract, QHSE Review & Approval of Vendor contracts, Supplier Performance Evaluation – for Renewals, Invoice processing/uploading for Medical Insurance, Auction/Disposal of company assets in coordination with DPW Auction Team, and Credit Card Payments, Monthly Reconciliation & Supporting submission to We One-Finance for settlement.

Required to work on adhoc task and request as raised for ongoing projects.
