IF POE WROTE OF CROWS
Late on a winter afternoon with a typical Seattle overcast, I concentrated on photographing crows in Green Lake Park. There were hundreds of them, and they made interesting subjects as they gathered in the treetops to squawk and socialize. This was my favorite picture from that day; with its strangely warty tree limbs, light gray sky, and the crows taking off, it seemed like an illustration for an Edgar Allen Poe horror novel.
